Virtual Gallery of Starr Shumaker

Welcome to e-Scene's Virtual Gallery of Starr Shumaker. If you would like to purchase his art, commission a work, or would like your images enhanced for traditional or computer uses, e-mail Starr. Starr originally created these images in film, pastel, crayon, or oil. Although some are in their original form, Starr used an Agfa Studio IIsi Scanner, Photoshop 3.0, and a Power Computing 150AV Macintosh clone to enhance most of the images with computer effects.

Below, you will find two choices for each image on each line. The choice on the left is a smaller file that is faster to upload but which has less resolution. The choice on the right is slower to upload but arrives with greater resolution. The high resolution choices are also usually bigger. If you can, we recommend using the high resolution images because the images are better. Different modems, computers, appreciations of high resolution, and patiences will determine which ones are right for you. If you find yourself waiting too long for a particular image, you should note its size and only download images smaller than that size.

With each image, you are presented with two navigation links. You can click on "Virtual Gallery Home Page" to return here. Or, you can click on "Next" to go to the next image in alphabetical order. However, please be warned: clicking on "Next" will always take you to another image, as the last image, Television, just sends you back to the first image, Angel, and continuously clicking "Next" from there will just keep sending you to more images. So, to return to this page, you should use "Back" on your browser or "Virtual Gallery Home Page" on the page itself. Also, the "Next" link will always send you to images with the same resolution, low or high, that you were in when you made the link. So, if you want to vary the viewing resolution, you should click on "Virtual Gallery Home Page" to get the choice.
